Strength
This week, prepare for the strength you have been building and relying on paying off for you in more ways than you can have ever imagined. The respect you
command this week, from the way you hold yourself and have continued to act throughout some particularly tough times, is incredible and inspiring.
The important people surrounding you have been quietly watching you from the sidelines. For some time, they have been admiring your control, resilience and
approach to life. The woman in the Strength card can be seen cooly prising open the jaws of a ferocious lion, as though this were a simple, every day task. Whilst the lion is clearly far from being a beloved pet, he doesn’t appear to struggle too much with what he is being forced to do. Perhaps a gentle, firmness is better for commanding attention and getting what needs to be done sorted, rather than a battle of wills!
This is going to be recognised with more than a simple “good job” and a “well done”! Everyone knows how hard life can be - and some people may have fallen apart at the seams if they had been walking in your shoes. You will find that your friendships strengthen, your family unit becomes even stronger and your personal
reputation positively precedes you. Expect to have some burning ears this week - you will be the hot topic of conversation in all the best ways!
Strength doesn’t mean needing to roar across the jungle at top volume to be heard. Sometimes, calm, firm kindness is all that’s needed.
Card set number 2:
The Original Rider Waite Tarot:

7 of Swords
This week, watch out for some sneaky
behaviour from someone unexpected. There appears to be an element of
work-related issues, particularly involving communication, where ideas may have been - possibly purposefully -
misconstrued. There is a person who is close by (either emotionally close, like a friend, or a person that you are in regular physical contact with, i.e. a colleague) who is causing a bit of mischief in the
background.
They have planted the seed of an opinion about you in another person’s mind. Your actions and words may well be closely scrutinised this week, so be careful with the words that you choose and the tone in which you say it.
When you discover the things which have been said, you have two choices in how to act. You can go in all guns blazing,
confront them and have the situation
escalate or you can choose to strategically plan your response and act in a cool, calm and collected way.
The first way may well lead to the issues you are experiencing getting worse -
particularly in the short term This is
pointing towards victim-playing: this
person is very likely to come across as very hard-done-by, leaving you - the
innocent party - being portrayed as the villain in this situation! Think before you act and plan your response accordingly.
A cool, collected response yields far
greater respect and attention that
screaming, shouting or crying ever did.

8 of Cups: Champagne Problems
Self-sabotage comes to mind this week!
Have you got the feeling that things are going a little too well for you lately?
Are you questioning if you really deserve the good things in your life right now?
Does something feel too good to be true?
The 8 of cups points signifies that you’re letting your anxieties get the best of you and you are simply choosing to run away whilst you still feel able to call the shots. “Champagne problems” alludes to the
issues that you’re facing are not the worst, most important issues to be worrying about right now - rather they are like “first world problems”. However, they are the ones that you can control the outcome for to a certain extent.
If you choose to walk away from
something, be that a relationship, or a job, or an opportunity, you feel that you have steered your destiny in some way. You have chosen whether this is something you want to continue to invest your time in, or whether you wish to cut your losses and run. One could argue that you are merely running to save face and protect your heart - only you can be sure of your reasons for acting in such a manner.
Nevertheless, don’t act rashly. Weigh up all the pros and cons before jumping with both feet into a commitment one way or another. Are you acting so quickly in an act of self-preservation? Or is your new chosen path one that will lead to you a better way of life? Trust your gut - you do deserve happiness - you’ve just got to find the right happiness for you!
Run towards your joy. Don’t let doubt guide your direction. - you deserve a happy ever after too!

Card set number 3:
The Morgan-Greer Tarot Deck:
(Bill Greer and Lloyd Morgan)
The Knight of Rods (Wands)
Well, you’re in for a busy week this week! The Knight of Rods (or Wands as it’s known in the traditional tarot suits) represents fast moving action, a passionate energy sweeping you along with a fearless
attitude and a new zest for life.
The key this week is to act with
confidence, but consideration. The energy of the Knight of Rods can certainly get us caught up in the moment - you may want to charge ahead with an “I can do
anything!” attitude! Whilst this is great and you can of course, do anything you put your mind to, there is a warning to take heed - if you’re about to run and jump off that metaphorical cliff, do you know what is waiting for you at the bottom? Are you going to land on a soft, bouncy pillow, or are you about to hit into a pile of jagged rocks? Do you have a parachute that will fan out and slow you down when you need to, or is the pull cord stuck?
You still have many lessons to learn; that’s ok! The knight has not reached his full
maturity yet. Whilst he may have courage and a steely, can-do attitude, not all of his risks pay off. However, life is about taking some risks - you just need to weigh up which ones are worth taking!
Be brave, be bold… but be cautious. In this game of life, be careful not to bet it all in one hand then need to fold in the next.

The Original Rider Waite Tarot:

The Hermit
The upcoming week requires some quiet contemplation, rest and reflection. Things have been a little heavy lately and
sometimes it can feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. You’ve been the strong one for everyone else around you, bearing the brunt of all the responsibility, and now you need to take some you time. Shut yourself away from the busy moments of life and learn to say a polite, but firm, “No!”
The Hermit requires you to find that little optimistic spark within you again and to reignite it. Set some new goals and make a plan of action for how to meet them. Get out in nature: go mountain climbing, go on a forest trek, go for a wild swim, go for a long cycle ride - do something for you that helps you spend time doing something you are passionate about.
This is also a great time for studying - your mind is sharp and you will find it easy to learn and retain new information this week, so if there has been something you have been meaning to research, get on and do it! You may even find yourself drawn to applying for, getting started on or
completing a course. Knuckle down, work hard and reap the rewards!
Inward reflection doesn’t have to feel
isolating; find your inner peace, work on your life plan and stride towards your next goals!

King of Cups
My, oh my, what a week we’ve just had! Now, if you're anything like me, you have had the busiest last week. When you find that you can't get anything done and you are so busy you think your brain may
implode, it can cause you to get a little bit stressed - and sometimes is spills out in ways you wouldn’t normally choose to
express yourself.
Others may forgive you for the occasional outburst - if you apologise and it happens maybe once in a blue moon. But if you’re constantly blowing up at people, they may be a little less patient - you need to find a new way to express and control your
emotions.
This is what the King of Cups highlights this week. This is a fellow who keeps their emotions in check and expresses them in a controlled way. They choose what to
reveal, when to reveal and whom to reveal to. Ask yourself: are your outbursts
actually changing anything? Or are they causing people to tiptoe around you,
fearing that they’re walking on eggshells and therefore trying to pacify you? If it’s the latter, you may need to reconsider your approach to handling stressful
situations next week.
Take some time out this week to rebalance - switch off your brain and take some you time! Get out into your peaceful den, do something creative, have the glass of wine, listen to your favourite tunes, sing, dance… find the fun! Reconnect with you!
Get control of your emotions; don’t let your emotions control you!

The Lovers
Well hello, lovers! Expect some fireworks this week - passion, excitement, lust, love and an strong gravitational pull towards a specific someone when you reunite after some time apart!
Strangely, when I started analysing this card, all I could hear blasting into my brain was Sir Elton John’s incredible vocals on, “I guess that’s why they call it the blues”. This week feels like your lover, significant other, best friend has been a little absent - they may have had a busy week filled with work commitments, or had some projects they’ve needed to spend time on, leaving you feeling a little lonesome.
As Sir Elton says, “And while I’m away, dust out the demons inside, and it won’t be long before you and me run, to the place in our hearts where we hide.”
You can spend your time apart wallowing, pining, not really ‘living’ - rather, ‘waiting’ on your lover to return to you. Or… you could get on with it, have some fun, catch up with friends, get some jobs done, so that when you and your beau do reunite and spend more time again with each
other, you have things to talk about. You can share news of what you’ve been up to. It’s ok to miss someone, but still live your life. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t stop turning because we’re not with our
favourite people every moment we wish to be.
Remember to live, even when you’re apart… and have even more fun when you’re together: “Laughin’ like children, livin’ like lovers, rollin’ like thunder under the covers.”

Queen of Cups
The Queen of Cups suggests that you may be letting your inner voice plant the seeds of doubt in your head this week. You are in quite a contemplative, reflective mood, perhaps looking back on recent events with some nostalgia and wistful regrets. Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve are all
wonderful in hindsight.
Your actions from the past have all led you to where you are today - exactly where you are supposed to be, at this time. It doesn’t matter if you’ve made a few
mistakes along the way. We’re all human and I am yet to meet anyone who has lived their life perfectly.
The ebb and flow of the water by the Queen’s feet show that these feelings and this moment of stagnation will pass. It’s ok to feel a little stuck - in fact, it could well be the universe’s way of telling you to pause and rest temporarily. We can’t all be at the top of our game, 24/7. Even the most graceful, serene-looking swan will need a break from all that furious paddling under the surface once in a while.
Take a break; rest; breathe; then get up and take the next step. Remember to be that fabulous queen that you are! Straighten up your crown, dust off your gown and stand proudly tall, ready to face and conquer it all once more.
What’s done is done - everything happens for a reason. Just because we don’t
understand the reason yet, does not mean that a new door isn’t waiting for you to open it.

The Eras Tarot:

2 of Pentacles: The Man
This week is about working hard for your money and then making your money work hard for you! “The Man” knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. He does this by making incredible deals, using strong negotiation, not backing down and not letting anyone take advantage of him.
When it comes to cold hard cash, you are the master in charge. You have earned every penny, so only you get to say how you choose to spend, save or invest it. There is a little juggling to do this week - beware of unforeseen costs and
unexpected bills coming your way. All will be fine if you make your money work - shop around for the bargains, be a little money savvy, don’t be afraid to haggle!
Now of course, I’m not suggesting that you can take on Sainsburys and knock 50% off your weekly food shop… However, if you shop around, there are some definite
bargains to be had. If a tin of beans is a little battered, or that nice loaf of bread squished, or the cream on the cake has been splattered, by all means, ask for a reductions - if you don’t ask you don’t get.
Some of you this week will be worrying about how to make your cash stretch,
particularly over the next 6 months - this card is the sign to say it’s going to be ok and you will figure it out. Sure, you might need to continue saving for that stunning pair of red heels, or the latest Xbox game. But you will get there and the things you need, you will be able to get.
Be shrewd and calculated in your
wheelings-and-dealings this week. Make the offer, haggle and close your deal - be “The Man!”

Card set number 3:
The Morgan-Greer Tarot Deck:

5 of Swords
Expect some annoyances and quarrels this week, mainly due to poor communication. There could be someone to watch in your circle that isn’t being 100% honest with you. In fact, they’re stirring the pot a little, with you getting caught in the crossfire!
If you are unsure how or why something has been discussed, speak to the organ-grinder - get the information firsthand! Too often, we try to avoid conflict by skirting around the issues we are raising, due to fear of offending people. If we talk to everyone else, but not the person directly involved, other opinions and mixed messages are added into the mix. Sometimes the best way is to be polite, but direct.
If you are not happy with how something has been communicated to you, stand up and say there and then. If you are unable to find the words to say it in that moment, take a while to reflect, but go back to the original person and explain that you didn’t appreciate how their message landed for you. Tell them what you would appreciate next time there is a difference of opinion and respectfully set your boundaries.
Then, move on - now is not the time to be holding grudges! Clear the air and move forwards. If you have upset someone, take accountability and apologise. If you have been upset, accept the apology. Life is far too short to hold on to negative energy and sadness.
Tomorrow is a new day - you can let today break you, or you can rise from the ashes like a phoenix in the sunrise and stride your way back to happiness and peace!
Card set number 2:
The Original Rider Waite Tarot:
(Arthur Edward Waite,

9 of Pentacles
The 9 of Wands is showing some good fortune for you this week. It’s representative of being financially secure, being content and comfortable with the physical things you have in your life currently. The future's looking bright and your hard work, savings, investments are all paying off well.
Some good news may follow this week, bringing a message about money. This will link to budgeting, with the realisation that you have more “free” money to spend on a project or ambition than you initially thought. However, whilst the fruits of your labour are starting to reap their rewards, this card does caution not to overspend unwisely. Of course, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself every now and then. You may decide to invest in some good quality shoes or staple wardrobe pieces, buying a few quality, timeless pieces which will last for years, as opposed to cheap, limited-use items for example. After all, it’s better to spend wisely once, than spend poorly on many occasions.
This is not the green light to overindulge yourself on luxuries whenever you feel like it though. There is good advice in keeping back some pennies for a rainy day. The sun may be shining right now, but it will not always be summer!
Treat yourself wisely: of course you can reward yourself for your hard work - but if rewards become too frequent, they rather lose their special shine!
Card number 1:
The Eras Tarot:

The High Priestess:
We are never ever getting back together
This week, The High Priestess calls for you to trust your intuition. In situations where you may need to make quick decisions, you need to rely on pure gut instinct. Deep down, you know what's right for you and what's good for you. The things which are good for you aren't always the things that you want, but are the things that you need.
The High Priestess is all about embracing your inner sassiness! It's about standing up yourself and remaining firm when you set your boundaries. Long gone are the days when you were a pushover. Once upon a time you may have been a people pleaser, but nowadays you know better - your inner peace is more important and life is far too short to worry about what others may think of you for saying, “No!”
Stop taking orders from other people especially when it doesn't benefit you. Trust that inner voice that’s guiding you to what you need to do, the decisions that you need to make, as only you can make the decisions that will truly benefit yourself.
The symbols within this card point to Taylor being rather nonchalant about how people may perceive her these days. Her achievements surround her; she holds her own reputation in her hand. Even when people thought the worst of her, she was still able to rise above it and turn the critics to her advantage.
So what if people are angry at you for wanting to forge your own path? Let them be angry! Let them moan! Only you can choose the way in which you want to live your life.
You don’t need anyone to authorise your happiness - take charge, trust your gut, make your own rules.
